Grandson of our company founder, George Devlin, Paul possesses that same entrepreneurial streak, customer focus, and hard work ethic.

Aside from overseeing and determining the ongoing growth and development of the business, he is a dynamic leader, a hugely talented designer, and a fully hands-on team member who inspires others through his actions.

Paul is incredibly passionate about delivering a high-end quality product, fulfilling promises made to customers, and seeking out new and better ways of driving the business forward.

He is incredibly factory-focused and has initiated the installation of energy efficient (green) heating systems throughout the factory, as a means of ensuring a greener, more efficient manufacturing process.

Just like our MD, Paul, George has grown up with the business and has learned every aspect of it through first-hand experience: this perhaps explains why, in addition to having exceptional financial and business acumen, he’s also an incredibly creative thinker, an ideas man who can make things happen, an IT whizz, and a marketer par excellence.

As a large manufacturing organisation working on multiple high-end interior design & fit out projects simultaneously, logistics plays a vital role in our success as a business.

Desmond, (yes you guessed it, another member of the family!), is the ultimate multi-tasker whose reach extends across many different areas of the business. As a valued member of our off-site installations team, he is renowned for wearing many hats, and doing whatever it takes to get the job done.

Following the retirement of our founder - also George Devlin - George Senior took over the running of the business in 1972, transforming it from a small furniture-making business into a large, highly successful manufacturing company.

Though George Senior has now stepped aside from his role as business leader, he still plays a vital role in the finance area of the business, using his vast industry experience to help keep the business moving forward and onto the next stage.

Passionate brand ambassador, experienced project manager, and fountain of knowledge when it comes to all things joinery, Jonathan is our resident problem solver, just as much as he’s our Operations Director.

Having been a part of our team for many years, Jonathan has led on some of our most high profile and prestigious developments in Ireland and the UK. As a result, he knows pretty much everything there is to know about our business, our industry, and our customers.

Simon travels extensively around Ireland bringing in high value new business whilst maintaining existing customers throughout the North and South of Ireland. He is a great brand ambassador and excels at promoting Abbey Upholsterers throughout the island of Ireland.
